At Root and Restore Somatics, our mission is to empower individuals to cultivate a deep connection with their bodies enabling the discovery of ones sovereign wisdom and truth.  Through integration of mind, body, and spirit in a safe container, we aim to guide clients towards greater self-awareness, resilience and holistic well-being, unlocking their innate potential for growth and healing.

I am a deeply passionate individual who loves to connect with others. I am intuitive and instinctual, I am a teacher and a student, I am a guide, facilitator and midwife to life journeys. I view the body through the lens of the nervous system whose main goal is to keep you safe at all times. With this is mind,, I offer a safe, nurturing and grounded space for exploration and healing. While I am a Somatic Practitioner and Therapist, I am not a licensed mental health care provider and do not provide psychotherapy.

With both lived experience and specialized trainings in medical, birth, sexual, spiritual and developmental trauma, I know that what allows for shifts and changes internally is a safe, held container externally. As humans we all want to be seen, heard, witnessed, held and accepted. This is the space I offer- to go into the depths with you to explore the root cause of your suffering and guide you towards your own freedom and sovereign truth.

Through the teaching of life I have moved through deep self disconnection with physical manifestation with conclusions that myself and my body were the problem. What I have come to know is that pain was never the problem but a signal of internal misattunement or dismissal that simply needed to be witnessed and cared for. i was never a problem, but my perception of myself was. Through healing and reconnecting with all parts of my body I have come to experience safety and pleasure in my body and want you to experience the same. 

Beyond specific training for physical therapy and pelvic health, I draw form my trainings in NARM (neuroaffective relational model), BASE (relational bodywork and somatic education) Cellular Release Hypnotherapy, Parts work, Attachment Theory, Breathwork, P-DTR, Visceral and Neural Manipulation with the Barral Institute, dry needling, Vital Psychedelic Training, Divine Feminine Mystery School and other advanced trainings.
